✨ Workshop Topic: Stop Treating Failed Rolls Like a Wall

One of the easiest traps as a GM is letting a bad roll bring the story to a halt. A failed persuasion, a missed lockpick, and suddenly… everything stalls. But failure isn’t the problem. Dice should matter. Failure should have weight. The real magic happens when failure changes the story instead of stopping it, introducing new complications, twists, or consequences that keep the momentum going. Come join us as we explore how to turn failed rolls into some of the most memorable moments at your table 👀

💬 Discussion: Stories from the Table

Bring your best (or worst) moments! We’ll be sharing and discussing:

• Times where a failed roll completely changed the direction of your game
• Moments where failure made the story more interesting, not less
• Situations where a failed roll accidentally stalled the game (and how we might handle it better)
• Creative ways GMs and players turned failure into new opportunities

Whether you’re a GM or player, this is a space to learn from each other, swap ideas, and pick up new tricks to level up your table 🎲✨
